City Council XX convenes Portugalete Story Contest "Noble Villa
Portugalete" according to the following rules: 1 .-
PARTICIPANTS Participation in this competition all authors who wish
whose ages are between 14 and 29 years age in two categories:
• Category A. Authors older: 18 to 29 years.
• Category B. Authors under age 14 to 17 years. 2 .- ITEM

awarded in this contest. Papers may be presented in two formats:
- Paper format. To this must be submitted in triplicate in sealed envelope
without identification of the author and under a title which, in turn, must
appear in the header of all sheets. Along with the title
also indicate which category is involved. Inside is attached another
on the same title and author's personal data: name, phone,
profession, age, full address, photocopy of passport.
- Format computer. For this purpose will work in a file with extension
. Pdf without identification of the author and under the title, which in turn
must appear at the top of each sheet. Along with the title
also indicate which category is involved. In this paper
accompany another file, also with a. Pdf, which bears the same title and author
personal data: name, telephone, profession, age, full address
copy of the passport.
The extent of work may not exceed fifteen sheets of A4 paper size,
written on one side, a computer, with a spacing of 1.5.
type font shall be Times New Roman 12 point. All pages are properly numbered

The omission of any of these requirements in any of the modes of presentation
will result in immediate disqualification.
Each contestant may submit up to three works by language.
3 .- PLACE AND DATE OF SUBMISSION

The deadline for submission of work will begin on May 3, 2010 and end on 13 October at
14:00. Will be accepted all the stories submitted by mail as
be postmarked on or before October 11 2010.
4 .- PROPERTY OF WORKS
works are the property of their authors, but the fact
participate in this contest, the City reserves the right to publish the first edition
with obligation to cite only the author's name. This power of the organizing body
will be invalid not been made effective within three years.
The award winning pieces may be withdrawn within 30 days after the failure of
jury ended that period, uncollected works will become property of
Hall. 5 .- PRIZES
hereby established the following awards:
CATEGORY A:
First prize: 1,800 €.
Second prize: 1,100 €.
Third prize: 650 €.
Also, establishing a second prize of 385 € for the best story in language
not rewarded.
CATEGORY B:
First prize: 400 €.
Second prize: 300 €.
Third prize: 200 €.
Also, establishing a second prize of 100 € for the best story in language
not rewarded.
No author can benefit from more than one prize.
The awards will take place in the second half of December 2010 or
in the first half of January 2011 in the Aula Joven (c / Maestro Zubeldia s / n). The
organization will contact the winning authors to communicate this fact
. No contact, however, the authors resident in Bizkaia, which should
attend the awards ceremony. In fact, all the prize winners must
be present at the event to receive the prize money, except
force majeure, which must be supported and valued by the organization of
event. 6 .- JURY
The verdict of the competition and jury composition will be announced the same day
the ruling. The jury may make final as it deems appropriate.
7 .- OTHER FINDINGS
Participation in this competition implies acceptance of all the bases. The
organization reserves the right to enter, if it thinks fit, the
changes necessary for the proper functioning of the competition.
