City Council Andarax Laujar of the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Culture Board Andalusia Almeria, the Diputación de Almería and Almería Studies Institute have announced the fourth edition International Poetry Prize illaespesa Francisco according to the following bases:

1. The competition is open people of any nationality with works written in English.

2. The works must be original and have not won any prize in other contests of poetry previously missed.

3. The theme and the form will be free, with a minimum length of 400 lines and a maximum of 600.

4. Manuscripts are submitted in duplicate, in separate, on DIN A-4 or letter format, printed on one side and duly numbered and stapled.

5. The works will be presented by the system slogan and envelope, stating on its front page title and slogan. Inside a sealed envelope attached to the name of the author, nationality, address, contact telephone and email, and a photocopy of identity card or passport and a brief biographical note.

6. The deadline for completed work 14 hours extendable to 15 September 2010. Anque be admitted to work earlier or equal to this.

7. The works will be sent by registered mail to the PROVINCIAL DELEGATION OF CULTURE OF THE BOARD OF ANDALUSIA. 125 Paseo de la Caridad, 3 ª Planta. 04071 Almería, indicating on the envelope: For the Fourth International Poetry Prize FRANCISCO Villaespesa. Shall not be sent by e-mail works.

8. The winner will receive 6,000 euros as a prize and publication of a work by Renaissance Publishing. The overall budget includes the rights of copyright in the first edition, of which the author will receive 50 copies. Likewise, the author undertakes to present the winning issue in the Days of Francisco Villaespesa in Laujar of Andarax and the city of Almeria in 2011.

9. The composition of the jury will be made public at the time of delivery of the decision.

10. The jury will public on October 16, 2010, within the VIII Conference on Laujar Villaespesa Francisco de Andarax, and is final.

11. For authors born and registered in the municipality of Andarax Laujar IV is called the Local Award for Poetry Villaespesa with an amount of 600 euros for the winner which should have a length of between 200 and 450 verses. Those interested will be included on the outside of the envelope the words "Local Award."

12. No correspondence with any of the authors of the poems that have been submitted to the poetry contest. The originals will be destroyed after not winning the jury's verdict.

13. The presentation of papers this IV Francisco International Poetry Prize Villaespesa implies full acceptance of these terms by their authors, whose interpretation, including the power to declare it void, is a free trial of the jury.
